SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Book design for Seven Touches of Music nominated for industry award

June 30, 2006

We are again very pleased to announce that one of our book designs—this time, for Seven Touches of Music—has been entered into the Chicago Book Clinic Book and Media Show. This annual conference, to be held in November 2006, is an awards ceremony in an "Academy Awards" format, complete with multimedia presentation and banquet, recognizing the best works of the publishing community in the midwestern United States. Several hundred publishing industry professionals typically attend the event.

The 2005 program guide for the event says the awards given at the show "represent 'the best of the best' as determined by the distinguished panel of judges... All the entries received truly represented the outstanding creativity, subject content, and quality production and manufacturing that exemplify the profession to which we all belong."

Seven Touches of Music has been nominated for this award by our printer, McNaughton & Gunn. In 2005 The Summer Isles, also designed by Aio, won top honors in the general trade/fiction category at the event. A total of 180 book designs were nominated for that show's awards.

Nominated books must have been published in Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, or Wisconsin. Seven Touches of Music is eligible because it was printed in Michigan.
