Domestic shipping information

Our books come with free USPS Media Mail shipping within the United States.

USPS Media Mail: The United States Postal Service states that its ground packages (including Media Mail) are typically delivered in 2 to 9 days. Our books come with free Media Mail shipping.

USPS Priority Mail: The United States Postal Service states that its Priority Mail packages are typically delivered in 2 to 3 days. If your order includes a non-book item, it will ship via Priority Mail. Please note that with our books you can always upgrade your shipping method to USPS Priority Mail, and you only have to pay the difference between the cost of Priority Mail and Media Mail. If you need to receive your order quickly, please choose this option.

Delivery Confirmation: All our domestic packages include delivery confirmation. We supply this number to you when we email you to let you know your order has shipped. You can track your package at www.usps.com; simply enter your tracking number into the place given (it will say "enter label number here") on the right side of the page.

International shipping information      

For international book orders, we will pay toward your shipping costs whatever we would have paid to ship out that book via our standard method within the United States. As of June 2006, that's approximately $2.21 per book.

Global Priority Mail: For international shipping of books, we've found USPS Global Priority Mail to be the most reasonably priced option while still getting your package to you in a timely manner, so we use it whenever possible. (Note that Global Priority Mail is not offered to all countries; for those countries we usually use USPS Airmaill.) For most countries, USPS Global Priority Mail will get your order to your door in about a week. To give you an idea of shipping costs for a single book order, for USPS Global Priority Mail to most countries, you'd pay about $7.50, while Canadians would pay $5.50.

International payment methods     

For most countries, credit card payment via our site works very well; however, some countries have unfortunately begun to acquire a reputation for credit card fraud. (These countries currently include some African countries and some southeast Asian countries, but we reserve the right to add more to this list as we become aware of them.) Because of this, for orders originating in those countries we've found it necessary to require a money order for payment. If you're located in one of the applicable countries, we will notify you of this when you email us to arrange for your purchase. We do apologize for the inconvenience.
