If you order an item and it does not arrive, please contact us according to the following guidelines:

USPS Priority Mail: The U.S. Postal Service states that its Priority Mail packages are typically delivered in 2 to 3 days. To be on the safe side, we give them 5 days. If you have not received your Priority Mail package within five USPS working days of the date you received a shipping confirmation email from us, please contact us and let us know you have not received your order.

USPS Media Mail: The U.S. Postal Service states that its ground packages (including Media Mail) are typically delivered in 2 to 9 days. To be on the safe side, we give them 14 days. If you have not received your Media Mail package within 14 USPS working days of the date you received a shipping confirmation from us, please contact us and let us know you have not received your order.

If the stated time has passed and we've received word from you that your order has not arrived, we'll work with you to find a solution; for instance, perhaps shipping your order again at our expense, but asking you to return the missing shipment if it does arrive (again, at our expense).

Please note that for most of our books you can always upgrade your shipping method to USPS Priority Mail, and you only have to pay the difference between the cost of Priority Mail and Media Mail. If you need to receive your order quickly, please choose this option. (Whenever possible we also accommodate upgrades to USPS Express Mail—just contact us to request this.)
