Aio's creation was inspired by the work of a single author. Searching the bookshelves for more of its kind, we were distressed to find next to nothing! Dedicating ourselves to broadening those bookshelves by adding works of a sociological strain which reveal humanity in all its complexity and emotion, we began Aio's development in 2003.
